Jenn Crawford , Katie LaPlant ,
Online Only
In order to help children handle changes that can happen before, during, or after a divorce, parents, caregivers, and other safe, involved adults must understand children’s development as well as their potential responses to divorce. This publication outlines the needs and typical behaviors and developmental stages of children from infant to teen, and suggests appropriate, healthy responses for parents and caregivers so they can support children going through the stress of major family changes.
